Expenditure on social assistance in the commune, on the example of the Poczesna commune

Despite the development of civilization, a large number of job offers and the enrichment of society in many cities and municipalities there are people, who do not cope in the modern world and need help. Many people can only count on support from social assistance centers. In the following work, the topic of social assistance is examined in the context of expenditure at the commune level. The first part describes the commune as a local government unit. The next part presents the characteristics of the Poczesna commune, as well as its financial side. The last one illustrates the financial analysis of the commune under social assistance. The conclusion of the conducted analysis leads to the statement that expenditure on social assistance caused a decrease in the level of poverty in the commune of Poczesna. This may indicate a good distribution of funds from the budget of the local government unit.

Mimo rozwoju cywilizacyjnego, dużej liczby ofert pracy i bogacenia się społeczeństwa w wielu miastach i gminach są osoby, które nie radzą sobie we współczesnym świecie i potrzebują pomocy. Wiele osób może liczyć jedynie na wsparcie z ośrodków pomocy społecznej. W poniższej pracy temat pomocy społecznej jest badany w kontekście wydatków na poziomie gminy. W pierwszej części została opisana gmina jako jednostka samorządu terytorialnego. Kolejna część przedstawia charakterystykę gminy Poczesna, a także jej stronę finansową. Ostatnia obrazuje analizę finansową gminy w ramach pomocy społecznej. Wniosek z przeprowadzonej analizy prowadzi do stwierdzenia, że wydatki na pomoc społeczną spowodowały spadek poziomu ubóstwa w gminie Poczesna. Może świadczyć to o dobrym rozdysponowaniu środków z budżetu jednostki samorządowej.
