Behind the facade of socialist Eden. Category of word "dirt" in Wiktor Paskows novel.

Subject of this Master's thesis is analysis and interpretation of category of dirt in the novel of Bulgarian writer Wiktor Paskow "Германия, мръсна приказка" (1992). An inseparable part of the novel, category of dirt is one of the most important and most conspicuous element of the diegetic world. Not only streets, train stations, cafes, flats are dirty in this novel, but actually the whole world in which the main character lives. According to the concept of the British anthropologist Mary Douglas dirt is matter out of place. Nothing is in place in the world created by Wiktor Paskow. All reality is dirty, because is built on absolute lie...

Tematem niniejszej pracy magisterskiej jest analiza i interpretacja kategorii brudu w powieści bułgarskiego pisarza Wiktora Paskowa "Германия, мръсна приказка" (1992). Wpisany w tkankę powieści obraz brudu jest jednym z ważniejszych i najbardziej rzucających się w oczy elementem świata przedstawionego. Brudne w tym utworze są nie tylko ulice, dworce kolejowe, kawiarnie, mieszkania, lecz właściwie cały świat w którym funkcjonuje bohater. Według koncepcji Mary Douglas brud, to coś, co nie jest na swoim miejscu. W świcie wykreowanym przez Wiktora Paskowa nic nie jest na swoim miejscu. Cała rzeczywistość jest brudna, ponieważ zbudowana jest na absolutnym kłamstwie...
