Planes of conflict and rivalry between United States of America and the European Union

Celem pracy jest omówienie płaszczyzn konfliktów i rywalizacji pomiędzy Stanami Zjednoczonymi Ameryki a Unią Europejską . W szczególności analizie poddane zostały spory gospodarcze pomiędzy USA a UE oraz sytuacja geopolityczna związana z oddziaływaniem partnerów transatlantyckich na globalny system handlowy. W pracy podjęto próbę wskazania znaczenia amerykańskich korporacji na europejskim rynku, jak i również problemów prawnych, które stanowią główną oś sporu między USA a UE. Do badań wykorzystano dostępne dokumenty, liczne materiały monograficzne oraz artykuły naukowe. W pracy dominującą metodą badawczą jest analiza źródeł oraz materiałów. Rezultatem przeprowadzonych badań jest potwierdzenie hipotez, że pomiędzy Stanami Zjednoczonymi Ameryki a Unią Europejską dochodzi do konfliktów ze względu na odmienną interpretację prawa oraz chęci zbudowania przez amerykańskie korporacje jak najmocniejszej pozycji na rynku europejskim. Ukazana analiza ma służyć wyraźniejszemu przedstawieniu i omówieniu badanego zagadnienia.

The aim of the work is to discuss the levels of conflict and rivalry between the United States of America and the European Union. In particular, economic disputes between the US and the EU as well as the geopolitical situation related to the impact of transatlantic partners on the global trading system have been analyzed. The work attempts to indicate the importance of American corporations on the European market, as well as legal problems, which are the main axis of the dispute between the US and the EU. Available documents, numerous monographic materials and scientific articles were used for the research. At work, the dominant research method is the analysis of sources and materials. The result of the research is confirmation of hypotheses that conflicts occur between the United States of America and the European Union due to the different interpretation of the law and the desire of American corporations to build the strongest position on the European market. The analysis presented is intended to provide a clearer representation and discussion of the examined issue.
