Diálogo entre Shakespeare y Marías: análisis de transtextualidad en Corazón tan blanco, Mañana en la batalla piensa en mí y Berta Isla de Javier Marías

El objetivo del presente trabajo es el análisis de las relaciones transtextuales que se establecen entre la obra del dramaturgo inglés William Shakespeare y las tres novelas del escritor español Javier Marías, es decir, Corazón tan blanco, Mañana en la batalla piensa en mí y Berta Isla para poder comprobar si la presencia de transtextualidad influye en la estructura y el argumento de las tres novelas mencionadas anteriormente. En el trabajo se exponen distintas teórias relacionadas con el concepto de la intertextualidad como también se presenta el panorama de la literatura posmoderna española y las principales características de la narrativa de Javier Marías.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest analiza relacji transtekstualnych zachodzących pomiędzy twórczością angielskiego dramaturga Williama Szekspira, a trzema powieściami hiszpańskiego pisarza Javiera Maríasa: Serce tak białe, Jutro, w czas bitwy, o mnie myśl oraz Berta Isla, aby zbadać czy obecność transtekstualności ma wpływ na strukturę i fabułę trzech wspomnianych powyżej powieści. W pracy przedstawia się także różne teorie związane z pojęciem intertekstualności, panoramę hiszpańskiej literatury postmodernistycznej oraz najważniejsze cechy prozy Javiera Maríasa.

The aim of this dissertation is the analysis of the transtextual relations that are established between the work of the English playwright William Shakespeare and the three novels of the Spanish writer Javier Marías: A Heart So White, Tomorrow in the Battle Think on Me and Berta Isla in order to investigate if the presence of transtextuality influences the structure and plot of the three novels mentioned above. In the paper, different theories related to the concept of intertextuality are presented, as well as the panorama of Spanish postmodern literature and the main characteristics of Javier Marías's narrative.
