All organizations strive to achieve and maintain the highest possible level of employees’ motivation.
It may be achieved by using of tangible or intangible motivation tools. Highly motivated employees
bring many different benefits for the organization. School and other educational institutions are
organizations where possibility to use financial motivation tools is considerably limited. It is then
especially important for school leaders to understand motivational processes and factors important for
their motivation and motivation of employees. High motivation of school managers results in job
satisfaction and motivation of teachers. The motivation of teachers undoubtedly affects students’
learning and performance which is the main aim of schools as organizations.
