Sociolect of restaurant workers (selected lexical issues)

The subject of the thesis is a sociolect of catering workers. The analysis of the collected lexical material allows us to distinguish the most characteristic linguistic phenomena present in this variety of the Polish language. It is mainly neo-semantisation and the use of borrowings.Linguistic research also enables the reconstruction of communication patterns functioning in the described group and the specificity of the ties between its representatives.

Przedmiot pracy stanowi socjolekt pracowników gastronomii. Analiza zebranego materiału leksykalnego pozwala wyodrębnić najbardziej charakterystyczne zjawiska językowe obecne w tej odmianie polszczyzny – głownie jest to neosemantyzacja oraz wykorzystanie zapożyczeń. Badania językowe umożliwiają także rekonstrukcję schematów komunikacyjnych funkcjonujących w opisywanej grupie oraz specyfikę więzi łączących jej przedstawicieli.
