The role of emotional intelligence in team management

The following work is an overview and explanation of the role of emotional intelligence in team management. In the initial chapters I tried to explain the concepts connected with management, functions of management and the roles of managers in the organization. I explained also concept of emotional intelligence, the development of the main concept and research in this area. The theoretical chapters include problems related to the team and working in a group. Research chapter in an attempt to verify the correlation between described concepts.

Poniższa praca jest omówieniem oraz wyjaśnieniem roli inteligencji emocjonalnej w zarządzaniu zespołem. W początkowych rozdziałach podjęta została próba wyjaśnienia pojęć związanych z zarządzaniem, jego funkcjami oraz kompetencjami i rolami menadżerów w organizacji. Opisana została również nieco szerzej tematyka inteligencji emocjonalnej, rozwój głównej koncepcji oraz badania w tym obszarze. W rozdziałach teoretycznych znalazły się również problemy dotyczące zespołu i pracy w grupie. Rozdział badawczy był próbą sprawdzenia korelacji pomiędzy opisanymi wcześniej pojęciami.
