The position of parliamentary and extra-parliamentary Polish political parties towards Polands accession to the European Union.

The theme of the following thesis consider the process of Polish accession to the European Union, with the specific look at enthusiasts and skeptics of a such solutions on the politicians’ parties scene. Particular chapters are based on the analysis of scientific sources and articles from reliable websites to make this work as objective as possible. Poland’s membership in the EU structures in considered to be a landmark event. Opponents emphasized the danger of losing their own sovereignty and sense of nationality, as well as adverse arrangements for the domestic economy. Whereas enthusiasts of accession depicted benefits such as the opening of new markets, increased competitiveness and obtaining financial support from the common EU budget.

Przedmiotem zainteresowania poniższej pracy naukowej jest proces polskiej akcesji do Unii Europejskiej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem entuzjastów i sceptyków takiego rozwiązania na scenie partyjnej. Poszczególne rozdziały powstawały w oparciu o analizę źródeł naukowych oraz materiałów pochodzących z wiarygodnych stron internetowych, dzięki czemu praca charakteryzuje się obiektywizmem. Członkostwo Polski w strukturach unijnych uważa się za przełomowe wydarzenie. Przeciwnicy podkreślali niebezpieczeństwo utraty własnej suwerenności i odrębności narodowej oraz niekorzystne ustalenia dla rodzimej gospodarki. Zwolennicy akcesji wskazywali na otwarcie nowych rynków zbytu, zwiększenie konkurencyjności oraz uzyskanie pieniędzy ze wspólnego budżetu UE.
