Co oznacza konkurencyjność? Rządy, wykazując ciekawość w podnoszeniu poziomu życia w kraju, często odwołują się do konkurencyjności, która nie zawsze jest wyjaśniona w ten samy sposób. W celu wytłumaczenia i podkreślenia podstawowej idei konkurencyjności musi zostać zrobione bardziej szczegółowe badanie jej źródła — teorii konkurencji. Zasadniczym celem pracy jest wyjaśnienie koncepcji konkurencyjności,jaka była wybrana przez UE. Każdy kraj ma liczbę regionów, które mają zróżnicowane problemy. Dlatego ważnym także jest przeanalizować europejską konkurencyjność według regionów, i z różnych innych perspektyw. When the governments show their curiosity in increasing the domestic levels of life, they often refer to competitiveness, which is not always explained in the same way. In order to clarify and to highlight the basic idea of competitiveness, a more detailed examination of the source, the theory of competition,must be done.The pivotal goal of the thesis is to answer which concept of competitiveness waschosen by the EU.Researching the competitiveness within the inter-state level is not enough for theproper assessment of the general level of competitiveness in the EU.
