Wychowanie narodowe i patriotyczne w czasopiśmie „Mały Światek” od założenia pisma (1887 r.) do 1914 r.

Praca przedstawia założenia wychowania narodowego i patriotycznego, które propagowała redakcja czasopisma „Mały Światek”. Skupiono się na pokazaniu jakich metod używano by osiągnąć te cele, oraz jakie wzorce promowano. Jako że wychowywano głównie przez edukację historyczną ukazano również postrzeganie najważniejszych wydarzeń i postaci z historii Polski. Aby przedstawić te zjawiska skupiono się na analizie tekstów prozatorskich, poezji, ilustracji oraz notatek prasowych i artykułów poświęconych tematyce zbiórek dobroczynnych organizowanych na łamach pisma. Redakcja starała się wychowywać głównie przez wskazywanie wzorów wśród postaci historycznych, a także bohaterów fikcyjnych odznaczających się pożądanymi przez nią cechami oraz angażowanie w sprawy narodowe od najmłodszych lat. Propagowano wartości takie jak miłość ojczyzny, poświęcenie się jej przez pracę, ale również zaangażowanie w walkę na rzecz wyzwolenia narodu. Wartości te zmieniały się wraz z upływem czasu, dlatego pokazano również dynamikę jakiej one podlegały.

The thesis presents the assumptions of national and patriotic education, promoted by the editors of the "Mały Światek" periodical. The focus was on showing what methods were used to achieve these goals and what patterns were promoted. As young Poles were brought up mainly through historical education, the perception of the most important events and figures in the history of Poland was also shown. In order to present these phenomena, the focus was on the analysis of prose texts, poetry, illustrations as well as press releases and articles on the subject of charity organized in the magazine. The editors tried to educate mainly by pointing out models among historical figures as well as fictional heroes who had the features they saw desirable, and involvement in national matters from an early age. Values such as love of the motherland, dedication to it through work, but also commitment to the fight for the liberation of the nation were promoted. These values changed over time, therefore this dynamics was also shown.
