Przygotowanie akademickie tłumaczy konferencyjnych a wymagania rynku pracy

Ocena jakości kształcenia tłumaczy konferencyjnych na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim, Uniwersytecie Jagiellońskim i Uniwersytecie im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu na kierunku lingwistyka (studia magisterskie oraz podyplomowe) w porównaniu do sytuacji na rynku pracy w Polsce i Unii Europejskiej. Wnioski są oparte na badaniu pilotażowym przeprowadzonym wśród czynnych tłumaczy konferencyjnych, badaniu „Monitorowanie losów absolwentów” przeprowadzonym przez Biuro Karier Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego wśród absolwentów lingwistyki Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego (roczniki 2015 –2019) oraz na podstawie programów studiów wyżej wymienionych uczelni. W niniejszej pracy znajdują się również odniesienia do wymagań stawianych kandydatom przez Dyrekcję Generalną ds. Tłumaczeń Ustnych, kryteriów dla zewnętrznych tłumaczy konferencyjnych w Unii Europejskiej, standardów Konsorcjum EMCI (European Masters in Conference Interpreting), kryteriów akredytacyjnych dla kursów z tłumaczeń ustnych stworzonych przez AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters) oraz testu kompetencji miękkich Wojewódzkiego Urzędu Pracy w Krakowie.

Evaluation of the quality of education for conference interpreters at the University of Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University and the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań in the field of linguistics (master's and postgraduate studies) compared to the situation on the labor market in Poland and the European Union.The conclusions are based on a pilot study conducted among active conference interpreters, the study "Alumni career paths research" by the Careers Service of the Jagiellonian University among linguistics graduates of the Jagiellonian University (2015–2019) and on the study programs of the above-mentioned universities.This paper also includes references to the requirements of the Directorate-General for Interpretation, the criteria for external conference interpreters in the European Union, the standards of the EMCI Consortium (European Masters in Conference Interpreting), the accreditation criteria for accredited interpretation courses developed by AIIC (International Association of Conference Interpreters) and the soft skills test of the Regional Employment Office in Cracow.
