Multiconfessional families in the light of the theory of social boundaries. The example of families whose members are Jehovahs witnesses and Catholics as longitudinal studies.

Rodzina stanowi podstawową komórkę społeczną, a więc fundamentalny, konstruktywny element każdego społeczeństwa. Socjologia uważa rodzinę za najtrwalszy i najstarszy element organizacji społecznej. Natomiast religia jest jednym z najważniejszych elementów życia każdej jednostki społecznej. Autorka skupiła się na opisaniu rodzin, których członkowie są wyznawcami religii chrześcijańskiej, jednocześnie różnych odłamów chrześcijaństwa, a mianowicie: Katolicyzmu i Chrześcijańskiego Zboru Świadków Jehowy. Celem projektu było znalezienie prawidłowości występujących w rodzinach wielowyznaniowych. Praca ma na celu opisanie współżycia międzyreligijnego w obrębie fundamentalnej jednostki społecznej jaką jest rodzina. Poruszone zostały kwestie granic społecznych oraz religii w kontekście społecznym.

The family is a fundamental social unit, and thus a fundamental, constructive element of any society. Sociology considers the family to be the most enduring and oldest element of social organization. Religion, on the other hand, is one of the most important elements in the life of every social unit. The author focused on the description of families whose members are followers of the Christian religion, and at the same time different Christian factions, namely: Catholicism and the Christian Church of Jehovah's Witnesses. The aim of the project was to find regularities in multi-religious families. The aim of the work is to describe interreligious coexistence within the fundamental social unit that is the family. The issues of social boundaries and religion in the social context were addressed.
