Mity i przekazy rodzinne w procesie konstruowania i redefiniowania tożsamości jednostki w rodzinach z ukrytym pochodzeniem żydowskim

Kultura żydowska po kilkuset latach koegzystencji na zawsze stała się integralną częścią dziedzictwa polskich obywateli. Zgodnie ze spisem powszechnym (2011) w Polsce mieszka ponad 7 tys. osób deklarujących narodowość żydowską. Transformacja 1989 roku pozwoliła przedstawicielom trzeciego pokolenia Żydów w Polsce na powrót do korzeni i odkrycie prawdy o swoim pochodzeniu. A ta, bez względu na okoliczności zmusza do zadania pytań o własną tożsamość, nawet, jeśli nie sposób uzyskać na nie odpowiedzi. Pytań tym trudniejszych, że dotyczących, w specyfice polskiej, odmiennej religii i tradycji. Praca, oparta na przeprowadzanych 10 wywiadów częściowo ustrukturyzowanych z elementami wywiadu biograficznego oraz genogramu każdego z badanych, jest zatem próbą analizy porównawczej ich narracji. Główną oś rozważań stanowi odpowiedź na pytanie jak owa „prawda” żydowskich korzeni wpływa na cały system rodzinny oraz jak funkcjonowanie tego nowego systemu wpływa na poszczególne jednostki, dalej zaś jak jednostka w obliczu owej prawdy definiuje swój świat, wreszcie jak odnajduje odpowiedź na fundamentalne pytanie kim jestem. Kluczowym wydaje się przyjrzenie się konstrukcji mitów i przekazów transgeneracyjnych rodzin, które stanowią znaczący element konstruowania tożsamości młodego człowieka i budowania jego poczucia tożsamości kolektywnej. Wspólnota zaś, zdaje się stanowić jeden z fundamentalnych układów odniesienia jednostki.

After several hundred years of coexistence, Jewish culture has forever become an integral part of the heritage of Polish citizens. According to the census (2011), over 7,000 people who live in Poland declaring Jewish nationality. The transformation of 1989 allowed representatives of the third generation of Jews in Poland to return to their roots and discover the truth about their origins. And this, regardless of the circumstances, forces them to ask questions about their own identity, even if it is impossible to get the answer to them. The questions are all the more difficult as they concern, in the Polish specificity, a different religion and tradition. The work is therefore an attempt at a comparative narrative analysis based on the conducted 10 partially structured interviews with elements of a biographical interview and the genogram of each of the respondents. The main axis of considerations is the answer to the question of how this "truth" of Jewish roots affects the entire family system and how the functioning of this new system affects individuals, and then how an individual in the face of this truth defines their world, and finally how does they find the answer to the fundamental question of who I am. It seems crucial to look at the construction of myths and transgenerational messages of families, which constitute a significant element of constructing the identity of a young person and building their sense of collective identity. The community, on the other hand, seems to constitute one of the fundamental frames of reference of the individual.
