Is the quality culture in higher education the same as the academic culture?

Problems of creation and development of quality culture in institutions of higher education are now the subject of many studies. However, there are no universally accepted concepts and models that could be the basis for developing methods of quality management and a culture of quality in higher education. This paper sets out to analyse the concept of the quality culture in higher education in relation to the academic culture. It also presents the typology of quality cultures in relation to higher education.
