Tombs with few quantity of bones in the burial grounds of the Przeworsk culture in the Roman period.

The thesis is an analysis of a recorded phenomenon of tombs with few quantity of bones in the funeral customs of the Przeworsk culture. The main aim of the work is to show a relationship between these kinds of burials and their chronology, type of a tomb and its characteristics, an equipment as well as gender and age of a deceased person. Moreover, in the analysis there is an atempt of isolation of characteristics set for a tomb with few quantity of bone remains. In the research was characterised a funeral custom of the Przeworsk culture as well as a state of tombs with few quantity of bone remains’ research. There are attempts of an analysed phenomenon interpretation.

Praca ta jest analizą rejestrowanego w obrzędowości funeralnej ludności kultury przeworskiej zjawiska występowania grobów z niewielką ilością szczątków kostnych. Jej głównym celem jest zbadanie oraz wykazanie zależności między tego typu pochówkami, a ich chronologią, rodzajem grobu i jego cechami, wyposażeniem, oraz płcią czy wiekiem zmarłego. Ponadto w analizie została podjęta próba wyodrębnienia zestawu cech charakterystycznych dla grobu z niewielką ilością szczątków kostnych.W pracy został scharakteryzowany obrządek pogrzebowy ludności kultury przeworskiej oraz stan badań nad zagadaniem grobów z niewielką ilością szczątków kostnych. Przedstawiono również próby interpretacji analizowanego w niej zjawiska.
