The review article discusses Karolina Kostyra's book "Wiosenna bujność traw. Obrazy przyrody w filmach o dorastaniu" [Splendor in the Grass: Nature Images in Coming-of-Age Films] (2019). The author of the paper emphasises the place of the monograph in the contexts of the film genre theory, new humanities' tendencies, and the academic discourse.
