The article presents a scheme of the German police functioning in the town of Nowy Sącz and the region during the Second World War. The author describes in detail the levels of the apparatus of repression and analyzes their goals, tasks and purpose. On the basis of a broad source base, the author analyzes the units of the German repressive authority and their assignment.
