Global and regional dimensions of international security

The book addresses and evaluates some of the basic challenges that Global and Regional Security is currently facing. The general conclusion is that in the second decade of the 21st century main challenges and threats to the system of international security have non-traditional character, appear not between states but within them and are caused by social disproportions, tensions between the rich North and poor South, multimillion migration of refugees and migrant workers, national egoism and xenophobia.
