Roman Ingarden : portrait of a teacher

Roman Ingarden "learned" in a different cultural atmosphere, shaped according to traditional patterns and values. First it was a family home, then a middle school and finally a university. In every period, at every level of education, Ingarden had his masters who were role models in life and work, and whom he could imitate in the dimensions of personal life, as well as his professional and scientific work. The goal of the article is to introduce Ingarden's profile of a man of work ethics, an outstanding scientist, but also an excellent teacher. The first part of the article concerns Ingarden as a school and middle school teacher, and thus covers the interwar period. The second part presents the psychological and scientific portrait of the philosopher, i.e. as a person/personality and as an academic teacher.

Roman Ingarden zdobywał wiedzę w zróżnicowanej atmosferze kulturowej i był kształtowany zgodnie z tradycyjnymi wzorcami i wartościami. Przede wszystkim był to dom rodzinny, następnie gimnazjum i wreszcie uniwersytet. Na każdym poziomie swojego kształcenia miał mistrzów, którzy byli wzorami w jego życiu i pracy. Celem artykułu jest zarysowanie sylwetki Ingardena jako człowieka etycznego, znakomitego naukowca i świetnego nauczyciela. Pierwsza część rozdziału przedstawia Ingardena w okresie międzywojennym, podczas gdy druga część zarysowuje jego psychologiczny i naukowy portret jako osoby i jako naukowca.
