The thesis describes the functioning of the franchise agreement in the Polish legal system. The first chapter deals with introductory issues related to the franchise agreement, such as the legal basis for concluding franchise agreements in Poland, industries in which the franchise operates, or its correlation with other agreements. The next chapter describes the franchise division in the legal doctrine and the practice of entrepreneurs. Then, the characteristic elements of the franchise agreement that occur in practice are described, as well as the civil liability of the parties to the franchise agreement. The last element of the work is a reference to the franchise regulation project in Poland, the advantages and risks associated with it.
