Expected and perceived academic teachers competence and the ethicality of the conduct : a study report

There is a growing concern in the Polish university environment about the functioning of universities. It seems that it is necessary to speak out loud about the negative phenomena occurring at universities, to trigger debates and initiate changes. The report presents the results of a survey on selected aspects of studying such as: 1. Competencies of academic teachers - expected and implemented. 2. Perceived (by students) aspect of the ethicality of conduct of academic teachers. 3. A general assessment of the quality of student-academic teacher relations (as an indicator of interpersonal skills). 4. The students' perception of an academic teacher - their general features. 5. The assessment of help and care on the part of academic teachers.

W polskim środowisku uniwersyteckim narasta niepokój o funkcjonowanie uczelni. Wydaje się, że trzeba głośno mówić o negatywnych zjawiskach występujących na uniwersytetach, żeby wywołać debaty i zainicjować zmiany. W raporcie zaprezentowane zostały wyniki badania ankietowego dotyczące wybranych aspektów studiowania takich jak: 1. Kompetencje nauczycieli akademickich - oczekiwane i realizowane. 2. Postrzegany (przez studentów) aspekt etyczności postępowania nauczycieli akademickich. 3. Ogólne oceny jakości relacji student-nauczyciel akademicki (jako wskaźnik umiejętności interpersonalnych). 4. Postrzeganie przez studentów nauczyciela akademickiego - jego cech ogólnych. 5. Oceny pomocy i opieki naukowej ze strony nauczycieli akademickich.
