The article discusses manifestations of Russian apocalypticism, starting from the period of the union of Brest, through the Time of Troubles, the schism of the 17th century, the times of Peter I, the 19th century history – which saw St Seraphim’s prophecy of the Revolution, the apocalypticism of the Revolution itself, and up until now.
