Chiny na drodze budowania własnej potęgi. Perspektywy wdrażania chińskiej inicjatywy Pasa i Szlaku w regionie Lewantu

Tematem niniejszej pracy są działania Chińskiej Republiki Ludowej na rzecz budowy własnej potęgi globalnej. Głównym celem pracy jest charakterystyka procesu budowania pozycji Chin jako hegemona na arenie międzynarodowej, poprzez analizę i porównanie działań związanych z planowaniem i wdrażaniem chińskiej inicjatywy Pasa i Szlaku w regionie Lewantu. W pracy przedstawione zostały najważniejsze aspekty chińskiej polityki zagranicznej z uwzględnieniem teorii systemów międzynarodowych. Stworzony został opis dynamiki stosunków ChRL z państwami Lewantu. Dokonano zestawienia Syrii, Libanu, Jordanii i Izraela w kontekście obecnej i potencjalnej współpracy z ChRL ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem inwestycji w ramach Nowego Jedwabnego Szlaku.

The subject of this thesis is the steps taken by the People's Republic of China to build its own global power. The main objective of the study is to characterise the process of building China's position as a hegemon on the international arena by analysing and comparing operations related to the planning and implementation of the China's Belt and Road initiative in the Levant region. The thesis presents the most important aspects of Chinese foreign policy with consideration of the theory of international relations. A description of the dynamics of the PRC's relations with the countries of the Levant was created. Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Israel were compared in the context of current and potential cooperation with the PRC, with a particular focus on New Silk Road investments.
