Special economic zones and selected historical special areas of an economic nature

Publikacja opisuje akty prawne wprowadzające preferencyjne warunki gospodarcze na określonych obszarach koncentrując się na ustawie o specjalnych strefach ekonomicznych z dnia 20 października 1994 roku. Jako przykłady historyczne, celem pokazania ewolucji takich regulacji, użyte zostało średniowieczne prawo składu (wraz z prawami pokrewnymi) oraz reżim prawny w faktorii handlowej na wyspie Dejima od XVII do XIX wieku.

The publication describes the legal acts introducing preferential economic treatment in specified areas, focusing on the Act on Special Economic Zones of October 20, 1994. As historical examples, in order to show the evolution of such regulations, the medieval Staple right (along with related rights) and the legal regime in the trading post on the island of Dejima from the 17th to the 19th century were used.
