Ochrona radiologiczna w obrazowaniu TK na przykładzie badania TK głowy – analiza przypadku

The history of imaging diagnostics with usage of ionizing radiation counts over one houndred years yet the implementing security measures are still said to be insufficient. This thesis was created to present the rules of radiation protection which are used in computed tomography examinations with particular emphasis on head CT. The first part describes the structure of the computer tomograph and its principle of operation. Here is shown the effect of X-radiation on the human body, the measurement methods of its dose and the radiation protection measures in accordance with legal regulations. The second part of the thesis focuses on analisys of head CT scan and its run.The thesis includes information based on the literature and a case study.

Historia diagnostyki obrazowej z wykorzystaniem promieniowania rentgenowskiego liczy ponad sto lat, a jednak wciąż pojawiają się głosy mówiące o tym, że wdrażane środki bezpieczeństwa są niewystarczające. Niniejsza praca powstała w celu przedstawienia zasad ochrony radiologicznej stosowanych w badaniach tomografii komputerowej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem badania TK głowy. W pierwszej części omówiono budowę i zasadę działania tomografu komputerowego. Przedstawiono wpływ promieniowania X na ludzki organizm, sposoby pomiaru jego dawki oraz zgodne z regulacjami prawnymi środki ochrony radiologicznej. Druga część pracy skupia się na analizie badania TK głowy oraz jego przebiegu.Praca łączy w sobie informacje zebrane na bazie literatury oraz studium przypadku.
