Green HRM has been given considerable attention over the last few decades and the concept is emerging very rapidly in this dynamic world we live in today. The green HR practices aim to shape employee behavior and achieve environmentally friendly goals of the organization. This thesis is a quantitative exploratory research that investigates the impact of a firm’s green HRM practices on the satisfaction of its employees. The study aims to study the impact of various green HR practices in a given organization and the positive effects of such practices on the individual’s satisfaction.
Green HRM has been given considerable attention over the last few decades and the concept is emerging very rapidly in this dynamic world we live in today. The green HR practices aim to shape employee behavior and achieve environmentally friendly goals of the organization. This thesis is a quantitative exploratory research that investigates the impact of a firm’s green HRM practices on the satisfaction of its employees. The study aims to study the impact of various green HR practices in a given organization and the positive effects of such practices on the individual’s satisfaction.The data is collected from primary source, i.e., a structured questionnaire based on Likert’s scale. The results are analyzed using various statistical models that demonstrate positive relationships between various independent variables and the dependent one.In this study the positive relationship between green HRM practices and employee satisfaction concludes that companies must consider the environmental impact of their practices as it can directly influence or impact its employees.
