Testimonies of reception of Marco Scacchis music on the territory of Slovakia and Moravia

Marco Scacchi (+1662), kapelmistrz kapeli króla Władysława IV Wazy, znany jest dzisiaj głównie jako autor pism z zakresu teorii muzyki. Był to jednak przede wszystkim kompozytor, którego utwory znane były w XVII wieku nie tylko w całej Rzeczpospolitej, ale również w Niemczech, Szwecji, Włoszech, a także na terenach dzisiejszej Słowacji i Moraw. W referacie przedstawione zostały główne nurty w twórczości Scacchiego. W tym kontekście omówiono bardziej dokładnie utwory i ich wersje, które znajdują się w Lewoczy (madrygał "O come sei gentile" jako kontrafaktura "Herr fur dein Angesicht") i Kromieryżu (motet "Da Pater"), a także "Missa pacis", którą wymieniają inwentarze kapeli pijarskiej w Podolincu.

Marco Scacchi (died 1662), the chapelmaster of the chapel royal of Ladislaus IV Vasa, is known today principally as an author of texts on theory of music. However, in the first place, he was a composer, whose pieces were known not only in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, but also in Germany, Sweden, Italy, and on the territories of present Slovakia and Moravia. In the paper there are generally presented main types of Scacchi's compositions. In this context there are discussed in detail compositions and their versions preserved in Levoča (the madrigal 'O come sei gentile' as the contrafactum 'Herr fur dein Angesicht') and Kroměříž (the motet 'Da Pater'), as well as his 'Missa pacis', mentioned in the musical inventories of Piarists in Podolínec.
