Autorka analizuje dwa typy opowieści migranckich, kóre przybierają formę słownika. Oba stanowią realizację "estetyki migracji" ściśle zespolonej z pracą przekładu oraz poetyką wielojęzyczności i są narzędziami służącymi międzykulturowemu funkcjonowaniu jednostki. Pierwszy typ słowników dwujęzycznych skupia się na wskazywaniu różnic i niewspółmierności kulturowych światów oraz alienacyjnych aspektów doświadczenia dyslokacji. Drugi typ afirmuje nomadyczność, transkulturowość, transjęzykową kooperację i nowy typ więzi międzyludzkich spajających " świat w ruchu".

The author analyzes two types of migration stories that take the form of a glossary. Both types embody the "aesthetics of migration", closely related to translation and the poetics of multilingualism, and constitute tools for the intercultural functioning of an individual. One type of bilingual glossary focuses on pointing at differences between and incommensurability of cultural worlds, as well as the alienating aspects of the experience of dislocation. The other type affirms nomadism, transculturality, trans-linguistic cooperation and a new type of interpersonal relations that bind the "world in motion".
