Cultural secrets of Russia - herbalism, magic, shamans.

This bachelor thesis is about herbal medicine and Sibirian shamanism in Russia. The first chapter presents the cultural, linguistic and religious diversity in Russia. The second chapter presents the history of herbal medicine in Russia and the description of a few magical plants used by the ancient Slavs. The third chapter presents Siberian shamanism. It describes a shamanic vision of the world, who the shaman is and how the person becomes shaman, shamanic ceremonial attributes, shamanic ritual and popular plants and herbs used by shamans.

Praca licencjacka dotyczy ziołolecznictwa i szamanizmu syberyjskiego w Rosji. Pierwszy rozdział ukazuje zróżnicowanie kulturowe, językowe i religijne w Rosji. Drugi rozdział przedstawia historię ziołolecznictwa w Rosji oraz opisuje kilka magicznych roślin stosowanych przez Słowian. Rozdział trzeci przedstawia szamanizm syberyjski. Opisuje szamańską wizję świata, kim jest szaman i jak osoba staje się szamanem, szamańskie atrybuty ceremonii, szamański rytuał oraz typowe rośliny i zioła używane przez szamanów.
