The generation of young inhabitants and the names of discussion groups used in Messenger communicator

Celem artykułu jest odtworzenie autowizerunku młodych mieszkańców wsi na podstawie analizy nazw zbiorowych, które nadaj ą swoim grupom dyskusyjnym młodzi użytkownicy komunikatora Messenger. Struktury onimiczne o charakterze endogenicznym, a więc takie, które grupa stworzyła dla autoidentyfikacji, wyodrębnienia siebie spośród innych, stanowią cenne źródło informacji na temat językowego obrazu świata młodego pokolenia oraz różnych sposobów kształtowania wspólnotowej tożsamości. Analiza materiału językowego, na który składa się 325 nazw własnych, ukazuje także, w jaki w sposób wspłcześnie tworzone przez młodych mieszkańców wsi struktury nazewnicze odzwierciedlają dynamikę procesów kulturowych, w jakim stopniu powstające formacje nawiązują do tradycji, a na ile stanowi ą językowy eksponent współczesnych procesów globalizacyjnych.

The objective of the article is the reconstruction of the image of young villagers on the basis of the analysis of collective names that are given to discussion groups by young Messenger users. Onymous endogenous structures, i. e. those which were created by a group for self-identification and separation from other groups, are a valuable source of information on the linguistic image of the world of the young generation, as well as on various ways of shaping the identity of the community. The analysis of the linguistic material, which consists of 325 proper names, shows how the name structures that are being created by young village inhabitants reflect the dynamics of cultural processes, to what extent the created formations refer to tradition, and to what extent they are a linguistic exponent of the modern globalization processes.
