The adultery in Polish and canon law and in the social teaching of the Catholic Church

The subject of the master's thesis are the consequences of the adultery in the Polish and canon law and in the social teaching of the Catholic Church. For this purpose was presented the historical context of adultery and the contemporary jurisprudence, doctrine views and the legal acts. The thesis contains three chapters. The first one introduces into the subject of the master’s thesis, showing basic terms and historical background of adultery. The second chapter describes the aftermaths of adultery not only in modern penal, civil, family and administrative law, but also in other branches of polish law. The last chapter presents how the adultery is seen by the canon law and the social teaching of the Catholic Church.

Przedmiotem pracy magisterskiej są konsekwencje cudzołóstwa w prawie polskim i kanonicznym oraz w nauczaniu społecznym Kościoła Katolickiego. W tym celu zaprezentowano historyczny kontekst cudzołóstwa, a także współczesne orzecznictwo, poglądy doktryny i akty prawne. Praca składa się z trzech rozdziałów. Pierwszy wprowadza w temat pracy, przedstawiając podstawowe pojęcia oraz historię zjawiska cudzołóstwa. Drugi rozdział opisuje następstwa cudzołóstwa nie tylko w prawie karnym, cywilnym, rodzinnym czy administracyjnym, lecz także w innych gałęziach polskiego prawa. Ostatni rozdział prezentuje jak cudzołóstwo jest postrzegane przez prawo kanoniczne i nauczanie społeczne Kościoła Katolickiego.
