Izvedeni zakl̂učci, pokretni vokali i ulazne promenl̂ive : konceptualizacija kretan̂a u jeziku struke i nauke na primerima semantičkih transformacija kolokata

Taking into account the basic features of the scientific style, we do not expect transferred meanings there. Nevertheless, there is a special kind of metaphor – scientific, conceptual, based on the thought process. The language of science is a problem for both native and non-native speakers of the Serbian language – previous studies have warned of difficulties related to the reception and production of collocations, especially in cases of transmitted meanings and synonyms. These problems indicate the need to examine secondary semantic realizations in collocations typical for scientific discourse, both universal and those specific to some sciences. Consequently, the subject of this paper is semantic transformations of collocates in the language for special (specific) purposes, based on Serbian language material. The research corpus consists of academic papers from the Zbornik Matice srpske za filologiju i lingvistiku (humanities) and the Tehnika (technical sciences). The aims of this research are: 1) to single out collocations in which the semantic nuance of movement is present, 2) to group them based on whether they occur in both observed areas or only in one, and 3) to analyze and classify, according to the type of meaning transfer. Many metaphorical realizations were expected in the form of a dominant conceptual metaphor RESEARCH IS A JOURNEY, as well as its components – starting point, paths, obstacles, landmarks, and similar. The results show that most collocations obtained in the process of semantic transfer were recorded in the group that differentiates linguistics in relation to the technical sciences, and the least when it comes to technical sciences. As previously assumed, RESEARCH IS A JOURNEY is a primary conceptual metaphor, visible in most examples. Collocations that do not belong to this category in terms of semantics are classified into other groups of transformations: 1) spatial relations presented in the context of the transfer of feature from concrete to abstract entities, 2) transfer of the ability to flow from liquid substances to non-liquid ones or to abstract concepts, 3) personification or assignment of the ability to move independently to phenomena that do not have it by nature. In addition, semantic transformations were registered in a large number of terms, especially in the field of linguistics.

Uzevši u obzir osnovne odlike naučnog stila, u njemu se ne očekuju prenesena značenja. Međutim, u tekstovima ovog tipa postoji posebna vrsta metafore – konceptualna, zasnovana na misaonom procesu. Jezik nauke predstavlja problem i izvornim i neizvornim govornicima srpskog jezika – istraživanja upozoravaju na teškoće u vezi s recepcijom i produkcijom kolokacija, naročito kod prenesenih značenja i sinonimije. Navedeni problemi ukazuju na potrebu za ispitivanjem sekundarnih semantičkih realizacija u kolokacijama tipičnim za naučni diskurs, kako univerzalnim, tako i onim specifičnim za određene nauke. Građu za istraživanje čine radovi iz „Zbornika Matice srpske za filologiju i lingvistiku” (humanističke nauke) i časopisa „Tehnika” (tehničke nauke). Ciljevi istraživanja su sledeći: izdvojiti kolokacije u kojima je prisutna semantička nijansa kretanja, grupisati ih na osnovu toga da li se javljaju u obema posmatranim oblastima ili samo u jednoj, a zatim analizirati i klasifikovati prema tipu prenošenja značenja. Očekuje se izvestan broj metaforičnih realizacija u vidu dominantne pojmovne metafore ISTRAŽIVANJE JE PUTOVANJE ili njenih komponenata.
