Amatorski słownik gwarowy : podstawy tworzenia słownika gwarowego

The paper presents the most important methodological and practical problems faced by an amateur lexicographer who has an interest in the vocabulary and culture of his or her region but does not have a professional dialectological or lexicological background. Th e issues discussed here include: the notions of a dialectal word and a uniquely dialectal word, the goal of creating a dialect dictionary, its scope and the main elements of a dictionary entry.
