Celem pracy jest przybliżenie życia i postaci Paisjusza Hagioryty jako kontynuatora tradycji hezychastycznej i monastycznej XX wieku. Praca składa się z czterech rozdziałów. Poszczególne jej fragmenty przybliżają zagadnienia z zakresu życia Paisjusza Hagioryty, rozwoju hezychazmu oraz monastycyzmu na przestrzeni wieków- z uwzględnieniem hezychazmu rusko- moskiewskiego, a także przybliżają życiową filozofię i naukę atoskiego mnicha.

The aim of the work is to introduce the life and figure of Paisius Hagiorite as a continuator of the Hesychastic and monastic tradition of the 20th century. The work consists of four chapters. Its individual parts bring closer the issues of Paisius Hagiorite's life, the development of Hesychasm and monasticism over the centuries - taking into account Russian-Moscow Hesychasm, and also bring closer the life philosophy and teaching of the Athosian monk.
