PROFESSIONAL STRESS AT THE WORKPLACE OF TEACHERS IN KRAKOW SCHOOLS

The paper presents the essence of occupational stress, as well as the physical and mental effects that cause it, on the example of the teaching profession in schools located in the city of Krakow. Factors that influence the level of stress among teachers were indicated. Conducting the study with the use of a questionnaire among the teachers of the described area resulted in drawing conclusions regarding the level of occupational stress in the group of respondents. Teachers participating in the survey covered 33 primary and secondary school teachers

W pracy zaprezentowano istotę stresu zawodowego, jak i ukazano skutki fizyczne i psychiczne, które je wywołują na przykładzie zawodu nauczyciela w szkołach, znajdujących się na terenie miasta Krakowa. Wskazano czynniki które wpływają na poziom stres wśród nauczycieli. Przeprowadzenie badania za pomocą kwestionariusza ankiet, wśród nauczycieli opisywanego terenu, wpłynęło na wysunięcie wniosków dotyczących poziomu stresu zawodowego w grupie badanych ankietowanych. Nauczyciele biorący udział w badaniu ankietowym dotyczyła 33 nauczycieli szkół podstawowych oraz średnich.
