Balet dziewiętnastowieczny w świetle inspiracji romantycznych

This work shows the tendency of 19th century artists to find poetry in various fields of art, afterwards presents the phenomenon of the poetization of romantic ballet, focusing on two important from the perspective of cultural history ballets „La Sylphide” and „Giselle ou les Willis”. The dates of their French premieres mark the heyday of ballet as an art, being an artistic expression of romantic ideas. The author draws attention to the literary inspirations of librettists looking for inspiration in the works of romantic artists, the lyrical values of ballet stagings and even the poetization of ballerinas on stage. Quoting excerpts from the 19th century theater reviews, she shows that for the audience of that time, ballet was becoming a romantic "poem of dance".

Praca ukazuje tendencję dziewiętnastowiecznych artystów do odnajdywania poetyckości w różnych dziedzinach sztuki, następnie przybliża zjawisko poetyzacji baletu romantycznego, skupiając się na dwóch ważnych z perspektywy historii kulturowej sztukach ,,La Sylphide” oraz ,,Giselle ou les Willis”. Daty ich francuskich premier wyznaczają okres rozkwitu baletu jako sztuki będącej artystycznym wyrazem idei romantycznych. Autorka zwraca uwagę na literackie inspiracje twórców librett, szukających natchnienia w dziełach romantycznych artystów, liryczne walory inscenizacji baletowych, a nawet na poetyzację baletnic na scenie. Przytaczając fragmenty recenzji teatralnych z XIX wieku, wykazuje, że dla ówczesnej widowni balet stawał się romantycznym ,,poematem tańca".
