Celem niniejszej pracy jest wykazanie różnic i podobieństw w przedstawieniach dzieciństwa w perspektywie kolonializmu. Rozważania oscylują wokół wpływu kolonializmu na proces dorastania. Pierwszy rozdział pracy nakreśla przestrzeń, w której funkcjonowały plemiona aborygeńskie. Kolejne poddają analizie dzieło filmowe i powieść, ukazując, w jaki sposób autorzy przedstawiają historię skradzionego pokolenia.
The aim of this work is to show the differences and similarities in the representations of childhood in the perspective of colonialism. The considerations revolve around the influence of colonialism on the process of growing up. The first chapter of the work outlines the space in which the Aboriginal tribes functioned. The next ones analyze the movie and the novel, showing how the authors present the history of The Stolen Generation.
