Arystofanes – krytyk i wychowawca społeczeństwa ateńskiego w V w. p.n.e.

Niniejsza praca poświęcona jest krytyce społeczeństwa ateńskiego w zachowanych komediach Arystofanesa. Przedmiotem rozważań jest także rola nauczyciela, jaką przypisywał sobie poeta oraz więź, jaka wytwarzała się podczas przedstawienia pomiędzy autorem a odbiorcą utworu.Praca skupia się na analizie tekstów komedii, zwracając szczególną uwagę na fragmenty, w których komediopisarz krytykuje zachowania i zjawiska społeczne, które obserwuje w społeczeństwie w czasach mu współczesnych. W pracy został poruszony temat demagogii, edukacji, sądownictwa ateńskiego; wskazane zostały także problemy społeczne i polityczne, o które obwinia swoich współobywateli.

The thesis is dedicated to the criticism of the Athenian society in the surviving comedies of Aristophanes. The subject of the considerations is also about how the poet sees himself in the role of the teacher and the bond between the author and the viewers that developed during the performance. The work focuses on the analysis of comedy texts, paying particular attention to the fragments in which the comedy writer criticizes the behavior and social phenomena that he observes in society in his times. The work discuss the subject of demagogy, education, and the Athenian judiciary, but also the social and politicial problems for which he blames his fellow citizens.
