Językowy obraz świata w tłumaczeniu wybranych pojęć z zakresu prawa karnego w języku polskim i niemieckim

This paper presents the results of the linguistic cognitive analysis of the selected terms from the criminal law in the German and Polish languages. The aim of the research is to examine the level of equivalence of the analyzed terms in both languages, as well as to evaluate the linguistic picture of the world demonstrated in the words from both languages and cultures. The analysis demonstrates that in the vast majority of cases there is no full equivalence between Polish and German terms describing particular legal institutions.
