Organizational culture and the attitudes of members of educational organizations on the example of XXVIII LO in Krakow

The organizational culture of a school is a relevant element determining the functioning of the institution and also influencing its community. The subject of this thesis is a dependence between the organizational culture of XXVIII Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. Wojciecha Bednarskiego w Krakowie and the attitudes and behaviours of high school youth. This thesis shows the concept of organizational culture in the context of the functioning of the organization and its impact on its members. It particularly focuses on educational institutions presenting the specificity of the structure and tasks accomplishing by the school. Starting from the organizational culture of educational institutions, the thesis shows characteristics of high school students along with their attitudes and factors determining their behaviour in high schools. The analysis of cultural organization and attitudes of students of XXVIII Liceum Ogólnokształcącego allowed to tell that the organizational culture effects high school students, however it does not fully determine their behaviours and attitudes. Nevertheless, both the organizational culture and the students attitudes are influenced by many factors, including young people's private needs and ambitions.

Kultura organizacyjna szkoły jest znaczącym elementem determinującym funkcjonowanie placówki, a także wpływającym na jej społeczność. Tematem niniejszej pracy jest zależność występująca pomiędzy kulturą organizacyjną XXVIII Liceum Ogólnokształcącego im. Wojciecha Bednarskiego w Krakowie, a postawami i zachowaniem młodzieży szkolnej. Praca pokazuje pojęcie kultury organizacyjnej w kontekście funkcjonowanie organizacji oraz jej oddziaływania na jej członków. W szczególności skupia się ona na instytucjach oświatowych, przedstawiając specyfikę struktury oraz zadań realizowanych przez szkoły. Wychodząc od kultury organizacyjnej placówek edukacyjnych, praca ukazuje charakterystykę młodzieży licealnej wraz z przyjmowanymi przez nich postawami i czynnikami determinującymi ich zachowanie w szkołach średnich. Analiza kultury organizacyjnej oraz postaw uczniów XXVIII Liceum Ogólnokształcącego pozwoliła stwierdzić, iż kultura organizacyjna oddziałuje na licealną młodzież, jednak nie determinuje w pełni jej zachowania i postaw. Natomiast zarówno na kulturę organizacyjną, jak i postawy uczniów wpływa wiele czynników, w tym prywatne potrzeby i ambicje młodzieży.
