Fenomen podcastów true crime – próba diagnozy

True crime podcasts are growing in listenership year by year. This dissertation is an attempt to diagnose this phenomenon, showing the sources behind the emergence and growth of this format. Based on content analysis and available metadata the research examines Polish podcast market, the listenership of crime content in relation to other topics and based on comparative analysis author shows the relationship between the two leading true crime podcasts in Poland: „Kryminatorium” and „Piąte: Nie zabijaj”.

Podcasty o tematyce true crime z roku na rok cieszą się coraz większą słuchalnością. Niniejsza praca jest próbą diagnozy tego zjawiska, w której ukazano źródła stanowiące podstawę do zaistnienia i rozwoju tego formatu. Na podstawie analizy zawartości i dostępnych metadanych zbadano polski rynek podcastowy, słuchalność treści kryminalnych w stosunku do innych tematyk oraz wykorzystano analizę porównawczą, by ukazać zależności między dwoma wiodącymi podcastami true crime w Polsce: "Kryminatorium" oraz "Piąte: Nie zabijaj".
