Local referendum on the dismissal of the mayor

The aim of the work is to present and characterize the local referendum on the dismissal of the mayor. The work explains what a referendum is, discusses the types of referendums in Poland and presents the stages of an appeal referendum and its rules. The work also contains an analysis and statistics of selected appeal referenda. The work was written on the basis of source materials, the Local Referendum Act, scientific articles, data from the National Electoral Commission and the Central Statistical Office and information available on the Internet.

Celem pracy jest przedstawienie i charakterystyka referendum lokalnego w sprawie odwołania wójta. Praca wyjaśnia czym jest referendum, omawia rodzaje referendów w Polsce oraz przedstawia etapy referendum odwoławczego i jego zasady. Praca zawiera także analizę i statystyki wybranych referendów odwoławczych. Praca została napisana na podstawie materiałów źródłowych, ustawie o referendum lokalnym, artykułów naukowych, danych z Państwowej Komisji Wyborczej i Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego oraz informacji dostępnych w Internecie.
