Odkrywanie (jak być) współcześnie rdzennym Brazylijczykiem – Daniel Munduruku, Crônicas de São Paulo: um olhar indígena

This thesis has as purpose the analysis of the comparisons and contrasts presented in the literary work of Daniel Munduruku “Crônicas de São Paulo: um olhar indígena”, while also emphasizes the educational aspects of Munduruku’s work. The first part of the study concentrates on the description of hundreds of years of violations suffered by the indigenous population of Brazil, in order to create the basis for the analysis itself, which requires a vaster historical context for a better comprehension of how all the prejudices and discriminations against the indigenous population have their origin the actions in the colonial times of Brazil. The first part will also serve the purpose of introducing the author Daniel Munduruku, whose figure is very important for the Indigenous Movement in Brazil. The second consists of an analysis and interpretation of all the comparisons that appear in Munduruku’s book, highlighting the strong bond of Munduruku with the past, which is visible thanks to the cognitive abilities of the author who connects two seemingly distant worlds – the world of the whites, and the world of the indigenous people. Moreover, the second chapter is also dedicated to the educational values that Munduruku’s book carries through its paragraphs. With this, the research paper intends to portray the struggle of the natives that have found themselves in an urban space, as well as proposes to debunk the preconceived idea that the indigenous people may lose their identity while living in the cities.

Esta dissertação tem como objetivo a análise das comparações e contrastes presentes na obra literária de Daniel Munduruku “Crônicas de São Paulo: um olhar indígena”, e ao mesmo tempo, tem o propósito de ressaltar os valores educativos da obra de Munduruku. A primeira parte do trabalho, concentra-se na descrição de centenas de anos de violações sofridas pela população indígena no Brasil, criando com isso o fundamento para a própria analise, a qual necessita de um vasto contexto histórico, para um melhor entendimento de como todos os preconceitos e discriminações enquanto a população indígena, tiveram a sua origem na história do Brasil. A primeira parte terá também o pressuposto de apresentar o autor Daniel Munduruku, cuja pessoa é muito importante para o Movimento Indígena no Brasil. A segunda parte consiste na análise e interpretação de todas as comparações visíveis no livro de Munduruku, realçando o forte ligame de Munduruku com os tempos passados, o qual é visível graças às capacidades cognitivas do autor que assim une dois mundos aparentemente distantes – o mundo dos brancos e o mundo dos índios. Apesar disso, o segundo capítulo é também dedicado ao valor educativo que traz, entre os seus parágrafos, o livro de Munduruku. Com isso, a dissertação tenciona apresentar a luta dos indígenas que se encontraram num espaço urbano, mas também tende a desmistificar o preconceito que o índio na cidade perca a sua identidade indígena.

Celem niniejszej pracy licencjackiej jest analiza porównań i kontrastów obecnych w dziele literackim Daniela Munduruku „Crônicas de São Paulo: um olhar indígena”, a także podkreślenie walorów edukacyjnych książki Munduruku. Pierwsza część pracy skupia się na opisie setek lat przemocy doświadczonej przez rdzenną ludność Brazylii, tworząc w ten sposób podwaliny pod analizę tekstu, która wymaga znajomości szerszego kontekstu historycznego pozwalającego na lepsze zrozumienie, w jaki sposób wszystkie uprzedzenia i dyskryminacje wobec rdzennej ludności mają swe źródło w działaniach z czasów kolonialnych w Brazylii. W pierwszej części czytelnik pozna również autora książki – Daniela Munduruku – którego osoba jest bardzo ważna dla ruchu Rdzennej Ludności w Brazylii. Druga część składa się z analizy i interpretacji wszystkich porównań widocznych w książce Munduruku, podkreślających silny związek autora z minionymi czasami, który jest widoczny poprzez zdolności poznawcze autora, który w ten sposób łączy dwa pozornie odległe światy – świat białych i świat rdzennych mieszkańców Brazylii. Co więcej, drugi rozdział poświęcony jest również wartości edukacyjnej, jaką książka Munduruku niesie ze sobą. Zamiarem pracy, między innymi, było przedstawienie zmagań rdzennej ludności w Brazylii, która znalazła się w przestrzeni miejskiej, ale także demistyfikacja stereotypicznych uprzedzeń, że rdzenna ludność mieszkająca w mieście traci swoją tożsamość.
