"The impact of non-medical infrastructure on the formation of patients opinions about a medical facility"

In the work titled "The impact of non-medical infrastructure on the formation of patients' opinions about a medical facility", the main goal is to show the issues of managing non-medical infrastructure in health care facilities in Poland, in particular hospitals, and its impact on the overall assessment of the quality of services provided in the unit.The author focuses on the analysis of the impact of non-medical infrastructure on the assessment of a medical facility and presents the concepts of "Smart hospital", „Healing architecture” and facility management, through the implementation of which healthcare units can eliminate barriers in their assessment and increase their potential while optimizing costs. In addition, the "Accessibility plus for health" program was analyzed, which aims to improve non-medical infrastructure in health care facilities and is implemented in 2018-2025.The second objective of the work was to conduct an audit at the University Hospital in Krakow-Prokocim to check to what extent the newly established healthcare facility corresponds to current trends and problems regarding infrastructure management. For research purposes, an evaluation questionnaire completed by its authors was used.On the one hand, the work is of a review nature and was written on the basis of source materials from scientific literature and specialist journals, and on the other hand it is of an analytical and research nature and was created on the basis of an evaluation questionnaire.As a result of the analysis the author shows that non-medical infrastructure is not taken into account, and the requirements as to its quality are not standardized and defined. As a result of the audit, it can be observed that the newly established University Hospital in Krakow-Prokocim also has quite significant defects that arose at the conceptual and arrangement level.

W pracy pod tytułem „Wpływ infrastruktury niemedycznej na kształtowanie się opinii pacjentów dotyczącej placówki medycznej” celem głównym jest ukazanie problematyki zarządzania infrastrukturą niemedyczną w placówkach ochrony zdrowia w Polsce, w szczególności szpitalach oraz jej wpływu na ogólną ocenę jakości udzielanych świadczeń w jednostce.Autor skupia się na analizie wpływu infrastruktury niemedycznej na ocenę placówki medycznej oraz przedstawia koncepcje „Smart hospital”, „Healing architecture” oraz „Facility management”, poprzez wdrożenie których jednostki ochrony zdrowia mogą niwelować bariery w ich ocenie oraz zwiększać swój potencjał przy jednoczesnej optymalizacji kosztów. Ponadto analizie poddano program „Dostępność plus dla zdrowia”, który ma na celu poprawę infrastruktury niemedycznej w placówkach ochrony zdrowia i jest realizowany w latach 2018-2025. Drugim celem pracy było przeprowadzenie audytu w Szpitalu Uniwersyteckim w Krakowie-Prokocimiu, aby sprawdzić w jakim stopniu nowopowstała placówka ochrony zdrowia odpowiada aktualnym trendom oraz problemom dotyczącym zarządzania infrastrukturą. Do celów badawczych posłużono się kwestionariuszem ewaluacyjnym wypełnionym przez jego autorów.Praca z jednej strony ma charakter przeglądowy i została napisana w oparciu o materiały źródłowe z literatury naukowej oraz czasopism specjalistycznych, a z drugiej strony ma charakter analityczno-badawczy i stworzono ją w oparciu o kwestionariusz ewaluacyjny.W wyniku analizy autor wykazuje, że infrastruktura niemedyczna nie jest brana pod uwagę, a wymogi co do jej jakości nie są unormowane i określone. W wyniku przeprowadzonego audytu można zaobserwować, że nowopowstały Szpital Uniwersytecki w Krakowie-Prokocimiu także posiada dość istotne wady, które powstały na poziomie koncepcyjnym oraz aranżacyjnym.
