The conditions of digitization and sharing cultural assets under copyright law.

Tematem niniejszej pracy jest uwarunkowanie digitalizacji i udostępniania dóbr kultury na gruncie prawa autorskiego. W rozdziale pierwszym omówiona została rola instytucji kultury w dzisiejszej dobie cyfrowej oraz podstawy prawnoautorskie ich działalności. Drugi rozdział pracy w całości poświęcono aspektowi digitalizacji. Rozważania tego fragmentu pracy wychodzą od tego, czym w ogóle jest digitalizacja, jak oceniać ten proces w świetle prawa autorskiego i jakie są jego podstawy prawne jego prowadzenia w przypadku instytucji kultury. Trzeci – ostatni rozdział pracy poświęcono omówieniu kwestii prawnoautorskiej związanej z udostępnianiem zdigitalizowanych zasobów przez instytucje kultury w internecie.

The subject of this work is the conditions of digitization and sharing of cultural assets under copyright law. The first chapter discusses the role of cultural institutions in today's digital age and the copyright basis of their activities. The second chapter of the work is entirely devoted to the aspect of digitization. The considerations of this part of the work start from what digitization is in general, how to evaluate this process under copyright law and what are the legal bases for its conduct in the case of cultural institutions. The third - and final - chapter of the work is devoted to a discussion of the copyright issue related to sharing of digitized cultural assets by cultural institutions on the Internet.
