Motyw destrukcji w Kochanku Marguerite Duras (1984)

Mon mémoire de licence vise à analyser le motif de la destruction dans «L'Amant» de Marguerite Duras, autofiction publiée en 1984 et qui a valu à son autrice le prix Goncourt. Dans le premier chapitre du mémoire j'examine la présence de ce motif dans le contexte du physique de l’héroïne et d’autres personnages du roman. Le deuxième chapitre se concentre sur le motif de la dégradation de l'esprit due à la maladie mentale de la mère de l’héroïne. Le troisième chapitre décrit la désintégration de sa famille : la mort du père, l’aliénation progressive de la mère, la violence du frère aîné en sont les facteurs principaux. Le quatrième chapitre met en valeur la destruction de la structure de la narration romanesques traditionnelles.

Celem mojej pracy licencjackiej jest analiza motywu zniszczenia w „Kochanku” Marguerite Duras, autofikcji opublikowanej w 1984 roku, która zdobyła dla autorki nagrodę Goncourtów. W pierwszym rozdziale pracy badam obecność tego motywu w kontekście fizyczności bohaterki oraz innych postaci powieści. Drugi rozdział skupia się na motywie degradacji umysłu spowodowanej chorobą psychiczną matki protagonistki. Rozdział trzeci opisuje rozpad jej rodziny, gdzie główne czynniki to śmierć ojca, postępująca alienacja matki i przemoc starszego brata. Czwarty rozdział podkreśla destrukcję struktury tradycyjnej narracji powieściowej

My bachelor's thesis aims to analyze the motif of destruction in "The Lover" by Marguerite Duras, an autofiction published in 1984 which won the Goncourt prize for its author. In the first chapter of the memoir I examine the presence of this motif in the context of the physique of the heroine and other characters in the novel. The second chapter focuses on the motive of the degradation of the mind due to the mental illness of the heroine's mother. The third chapter describes the disintegration of her family where its main factors are the death of the father, the progressive alienation of the mother and the violence of the elder brother. The fourth chapter highlights the destruction of the structure of traditional fictional narrative.
