A generation of rebelion? Rebelion as perceived by polish punk bands in the 1980s on the selected examples

Punk rock pojawił się w komunistycznej Polsce w drugiej połowie lat 70. XX wieku. Dekadę później, nastąpiła prawdziwa eksplozja popularności tego gatunku muzyki. Wyrażanie buntu, jest nierozłączną cechą punka. Dlatego też był on idealną formą, do zaakcentowania swego sprzeciwu wobec sytuacji społeczno-politycznej w ówczesnej Polsce.Autor tej pracy stara się odpowiedzieć na pytanie, jakie główne aspekty codzienności, były piętnowane w tekstach polskich zespołów punk rockowych i w jaki sposób przeciwko nim, urzeczywistniano swój bunt. W tym celu, autor dokonał selektywnej analizy twórczości, trzech popularnych grup punk rockowych: Dezertera, Kultu i KSU. Praca zawiera także, próbę odpowiedzi na pytanie, jak punkowi muzycy, zapatrywali się na ustrojowe przemiany w Polsce, na przełomie lat 80. i 90.

Punk rock appeared in communist Poland in the second half of the 1970s. A decade later, there was a real explosion in the popularity of this genre of music. Expressing rebelion is an inherent feature of punk. Therefore, it was an ideal form to emphasize his opozition to the socio-political situation in Poland at that time. The author of this work tries to answer the question what main aspects of everyday life were stigmatized in the lyrics of polish punk rock bands and how they realized their rebelion against tchem. For this purpose, the author made a selective analysis of the work of three popular punk rocks groups: Dezerter, Kult and KSU. The work also contains an attempt to answer the question of how punk musicians viewed the political changes in Poland at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s.
