Wpływ antropogeniczny na ekosystem rzeczny oceniany metodą River Habitat Survey

Niniejsza praca przedstawia proces oraz wynik oceny stanu hydromofologicznego dwóch rzek: Czarnej (woj. podkarpackie) oraz Rudawki (woj. mazowieckie) metodą River Habitat Survey. Badania terenowe prowadzone w maju i październiku roku 2022 dostarczyły danych niezbędnych do obliczenia następujących indeksów: Habitat Quality Assessment (HQA) oraz Habiatat Modification Score (HMS). Rzeki uzyskały wartości: Czarna HQA = 20 oraz HMS = 2, oraz Rudawka HQA = 50, HMS = 8. Taka złożoność indeksów pozwoliła ustalić odpowiednią kategorię stanu naturalności rzeki, klasę III dla Czarnej, oraz klasę II dla Rudawki. Uzyskane wyniki wykazały skuteczność działania różnych form ochrony przyrody w najbliższym otoczeniu cieków, oraz wykazały możliwość regeneracji rzek nawet po najtrudniejszych zabiegach hydrotechnicznych.

This paper presents the process and results of the assessment of the hydromorphological state of two rivers: the Czarna River (Subcarpathian Voivodeship) and the Rudawka River (Masovian Voivodeship), using the River Habitat Survey (RHS) method. Field surveys were carried out in May and October 2022, and based on collected data the following indices: Habitat Quality Assessment (HQA) and Habitat Modification Score (HMS) were calculated. The rivers achieved the following values: Czarna River HQA = 20, HMS = 2, and Rudawka River HQA = 50, HMS = 8. Such complexity of indices allowed for categorizing the rivers appropriately into the naturalness condition categories, with the Czarna River classified as class III and the Rudawka River as class II. The results showed the effectiveness of the various forms of nature conservation in the immediate vicinity of the watercourses and demonstrated the ability of the rivers to regenerate even after the most difficult hydrotechnical treatments.
