The role of leadership style in the process of shaping the level of employees’ motivation

The thesis investigates the topic of the role of leadership style in the process of shaping the level of employees’ motivation. The assumed purpose of the thesis was to determine how a manager's leadership style influences employees' work motivation. The paper is divided into two theoretical chapters and one research chapter. The first chapter defines the concept of a manager, provides the list of functions, tasks and skills of a manager as well as presents the definition of leadership along with the factors influencing its effectiveness. The second chapter defines the concept of motivation and motivating, provides characteristic of selected models, theories and tools, and discusses selected leadership styles. The survey study was conducted from 25 April 2023 to 24 May 2023. An online questionnaire was completed by 104 professionally active respondents, including 80 women and 24 men. The results obtained were subsequently subject to a detailed analysis.

Praca podejmuje temat Roli stylu przywództwa w procesie kształtowania poziomu motywacji pracowników. Założonym celem pracy było określenie, jak styl przywództwa menedżera wpływa na motywację pracowników do pracy. Zastosowano podział na dwa rozdziały teoretyczne oraz jeden rozdział badawczy. W pierwszym rozdziale zdefiniowano pojęcie menedżera, wymieniono jego funkcje, zadania, umiejętności oraz opisano definicję przywództwa wraz z czynnikami, które mają wpływ na jego skuteczność. W drugim rozdziale zdefiniowano pojęcie motywacji i motywowania, scharakteryzowano wybrane modele, teorie oraz narzędzia, a także omówiono wybrane style przywództwa. Badania ankietowe były przeprowadzane od 25 kwietnia 2023 r. do 24 maja 2023 r. Internetowy kwestionariusz ankiety wypełniło 104 respondentów, w tym 80 kobiet i 24 mężczyzn, którzy są aktywni zawodowo. Uzyskane wyniki badań zostały poddane szczegółowej analizie.
