Music club management based on Prozak 2.0 in Kraków

The aim of this thesis is to find answers to the research questions: "Why is electronic music an important element of culture?", "What are the goals of operation of Prozak 2.0 club?", "What impact does the club's operation have on its audience?", "Does the club invest in the community centered around it? How?", "What are the relationships between the club and the artists?", "How does the club support the development of the music scene?", "What is its reach/impact?", "What is the profile of the audience for the culture offered by the club and an outline of its specifics?" In my research, I utilized a case study of Prozak 2.0 in Krakow. The tools employed included in-depth individual interviews (IDIs) with the owner of the music club and collecting existing data (desk research). The research was based on a qualitative methodology. The interpretation of the materials and the conducted research provided insights into the management of the music club and allowed for drawing conclusions regarding the club's role in shaping culture and its significant function in social integration.

Celem niniejszej pracy jest znalezienie odpowiedzi na pytania badawcze: „Dlaczego muzyka elektroniczna jest ważnym elementem kultury?”, „Jakie są cele działania klubu Prozak 2.0?”, „Jaki wpływ ma działanie klubu na odbiorców?”, „Czy klub inwestuje w społeczność skupioną wokół klubu? Jak?”, „Jakie są relacje pomiędzy klubem a artystami?”, „Jak klub wspiera rozwój sceny muzycznej?”, „Jaki ma zasięg/oddziaływanie?”, „Jaki jest profil odbiorcy kultury oferowanej przez klub oraz nakreślenie jego specyfiki.” W moich badaniach wykorzystałem studium przypadku Prozak 2.0 w Krakowie. Wykorzystane narzędzia to pogłębiony wywiad indywidualny (IDI) z właścicielką klubu muzycznego oraz zbieranie danych zastanych (desk research). Badania zostały oparte o metodologię jakościową. Interpretacja materiałów oraz przeprowadzone badania pozwoliły pozyskać informacje na temat zarządzania klubem muzycznym, a także wyciągniecie wniosków dotyczących kulturotwórczej roli klubu i jego istotnej funkcji społecznej integracji.
